The Dreamer

Here on Graduate Gateway our mission is to give you all the insights into your career choices ahead we possibly can. Personally, as The Dreamer of this motley crew, I want to showcase to you options you may have never thought about, in places you may never have been to, and do things you potentially never thought you could.

In my mind your options are not strictly limited to your degree, background, age, hair style, choice of pet, university results, or any other number, piece of paper, or thing. Certainly these things have their time and place, but I find they’re kind of like a handbrake; it might slow you up if your going along, but its not going to stop you.

So what is my background? Well I’m a country kid at heart having moved to the big smoke of Melbourne at the ripe old age of 18 to study Economics and Finance (i.e. Applied Capitalism). Professionally I have been titled a Property Economist, Financial Consultant, Strategy Analyst, Assistant Private Banker, Deckhand on a sailing superyacht, Financial Manager in the advertising industry, Army Staff Cadet, and a brief fling as a model. Outside of Graduate Gateway I intend for my life’s work to be the creation of a fashion label with a very good designer friend of mine.
